Archwood Music is a family owned and operated boutique recording studio and AIR-BNB based out of Marilyn Monroe’s former residence in Van Nuys, California. The studio was established in 2007 by Jon Brown Brown while working with Will.I.AM / The Black Eyed Peas as a vocal production studio for his label I.AM Music and other clients. Shortly after his time with BEP, Jon was signed to Universal Music Publishing as a songwriter / producer for various record label imprints under UMG / WMG / SONY. It was after his time as a songwriter, that Jon became a collegiate educator at top schools like UCLA and Musicians institute - and focused on expanding / remodeling the studio.

15 years later, Archwood Music continues to focus on supporting video, photo, and location shoots alongside hosting recording and writing sessions in a unique home environment. As a producer, Jon has been awarded 2 Grammy Nominations and 4X RIAA Certified Platininum records for top artists P!nk and Eminem. He has licensed music with some of the biggest brands, for film/tv/advertisements. He has been featured in major news publications such as the UK Telegraph, and most recently the studio was featured in The Wallstreet Journal as top Location for live/work recording studios in the United States. Archwood continues be a diversified boutique music company.
